Long time gay rights and cannabis activist Dennis Peron founded California's dispensary in San Francisco in 1990. In 1996 he co-authored the Compassionate Use Act, the ballot initiative which legalized marijuana for medical use in California. Dennis will speak about his fight to decriminalize cannabis and share his thoughts on the future of medical marijuana and comprehensive tax and regulation in Oregon and California.

The second part of this event will be opened up to questions from the audience.
