Drug Czar Suddenly Starts Telling the Truth

With drug czar John Walters’ term coming to an end shortly, we’re beginning to see some really strange stuff coming from his office. Pete Guither and Bruce Mirken both have good examples. Are they getting careless over there?

Politics & Advocacy ONDCP

Probability

This sounds like the one that says if enough chimpanzees type on keyboards, one chimp will eventually write Hamlet.  Random chance is at work here.  Certainly, truth is never deliberate when it comes from the ONDCP.  If a drug czar babbles enough nonsense, the odds predict he’ll make a mistake and occasionally say something true.  But these events are rare, and I don’t expect to see them happen again anytime soon.

Yeah.

You're right, G. But I'm still amused by the idea that they're getting lazy and failing to consider other interpretations as thoroughly as they ordinarily might.

Regardless, with the burrito taster nonsense, the SF coffee debacle, and now these posts, I think there's at least a pattern of particularly silly stuff coming from them lately. I'm keeping a closer eye on their blog than usual right now.

John the Liar...

...has ,no doubt, got his next job in mind. There must be plenty of offers out there for his kind of stooge-like qualities. My guess, something in the plethora of opportunities offered in the incarceration industry. Faith-debased prisons maybe.

His next job should be making license plates in a fed prison

Hopefully he'll be able to avoid the tens of thousands of people whose rights he's violated and are being unlawfully detained... in the name of the drug war.
